I never set out to build my own tools out of pride—it was curiosity that pushed me there. I wanted to understand every step of the process, so I tried making the machines I thought I needed: a forge, grinders, a heat-treating oven, even a hydraulic press. They’re far from perfect, but each one has taught me something. Building these tools became part of my journey, helping me grow as both a maker and a smith.
